In order to do so, however, it is important to accept the newly emerging role of the state and its decision makers, which is shifting from sovereignty protection to a rather Politico-Economic administrator of state-level relations. In this context, and under the “Globalisation” umbrella term, neighbouring states are not those who share a common borderline, but those who transact with each other, even from afar. It is easily seen that, the dynamics of these transactions can be only be comprehended by capturing the interaction between, at least, politics and economics, as they occur on state boundaries, frequently in the form of political, economic, technological, social, and cultural extroversion and introversion, both at the state-market and the domestic-international fields of activity. \n On the path to a “Globalised” economy, the intertwining of Political and Economic dynamics is becoming more and more prominent, and therefore it is important to identify novel ways for capturing this interaction.
