The effect of segment/boundary hydrodynamic interactions on the dynamics of adsorbed polymer chains subjected to flow [link]Paper  abstract   bibtex
In this paper the bead and spring model of a polymer chain adsorbed onto a solid boundary in the presence of flow is extended to include the effects of hydrodynamic interactions between the polymer segments and the solid surface. In addition, the consequence of the finite dimension of the polymer chain is considered as well as the finite extensibility of the chain. The addition of hydrodynamic interactions is shown to increase the rate at which the imposed flow can compress the adsorbed layer. As would be expected, however, allowing the chain to be of finite dimension decreases the compressibility of the attached chains. \$\backslash$textcopyright\ 1985.
