We have just released an update to BibBase that makes page loads a lot faster, in particular for external services (zotero, mendeley, dblp, bibsonomy). However, this comes at the cost of having to reload a page twice before new results start to show. This means that you are best advised to always reload your publications page at least once after you make changes to your publications list, independent whether that list is a bibtex file or a collection on one of the supported service. The much faster page load seems worth this extra step though. The Mendeley and Zotero APIs are pretty slow and some pages took 10 seconds or more to load before. These same pages now load in under a second.
