HELP: A Hardware-Embedded Delay PUF. Aarestad, J., Ortiz, P., Acharyya, D., & Plusquellic, J. IEEE Design Test, 30(2):17–25, April, 2013.
doi  abstract   bibtex

This paper presents a novel PUF design that utilizes the existing path delays of a design to generate a random and stable bitstring of desired length with minimal area and performance overhead.
