[::Countries] Native:Ethiopia; Iran, Islamic Republic of; Pakistan; Saudi Arabia; Somalia; Yemen [::Population] T. mascatensis forms dense thickets in suitable habitats. [::Habitat and Ecology] This species occurs commonly along fresh, brackish and saline water rivers. It occurs sometimes in ditches, wetland margins and along irrigation canals. [::Use and Trade] This can be used as fuel by local people and as forage for livestock. [::Major Threat(s)] There are no known significant past, ongoing or future threats to this species.},
