"This study, completed in 1990, is intended as an overview and introduction to the diverse treasury of pre- and postcontact indigenous Mexican manuscripts, with chapters on materials from the Nahuas, Borgia group, Zapotecs, Mixtecs, Mayas, and other cultures.
