OPEN DATA : L’ouverture des données publiques du Parc naturel régional du Verdon. Alexandra, G. Ph.D. Thesis.
abstract   bibtex
The Verdon Regional Nature Park produces a wide range of data, and wishes to engage in a policy of open data. This project is in keeping with the main lines of the Park’s charter and actions. The goal of the work placement is to develop an open data approach and set up a catalogue of data. It is thus a way to meet the requirements of today’s legal context regarding Open Data and the standards - called INSPIRE - the Verdon Regional Park is subjected to concerning its geographical data. Inspired by the recommendations of the organisation OpenData France Occitanie, the methodology is adapted to a regional nature park’s specific context and stakes. Several technical and strategic choices were made to carry out the project. The final strategy for disseminating data turned out to be the pooling solution proposed by the Region and the CRIGE PACA, namely the IDGO platform. Data cataloguing, via Geonetwork, has made it possible, among other things, to produce technical guides, available at this address: https://github.com/GeoNetworkTeam. A deliberation in principle was organised in respect of the opening of the Park’s public data; a text was drafted and voted on 12th July 2017. Following this vote, the Park made its first dataset available on the OpenPACA platform. The Verdon Nature Park is a pilot territory regarding Open Data for other parks of the PACA region. These territories should keep in sight the prospect of turning to the data web, where all data from parks are to be connected in the future.
