Reactive distillation: On the development of an integrated design methodology. Almeida-Rivera, C. & Grievink, J. Chemie-Ingenieur-Technik, 73(6):609, 2001.
abstract   bibtex
A novel internal was developed to enlarge the void of the reactor section and provide the gas and liquid flow channels. The catalytic distillation column with the internal has advantages that include simple internal structure, low operating cost, loading and unloading catalyst conveniently, and large catalyst loading fraction.
