Six Nobel Laureate economists moot with a dozen political scientists on how the two fields can learn from each other, particularly how economic theories about exchange, trade, and competition can be applied to the study of legislatures, parties, and voting. The economists are Arrow, Simon, Buchanan, Becker, North, and Selten. The papers and responses were prepared for and presented at meetings in September and November 1997 in Washington, DC.
