Note 1 : This Part of this Standard provides amplification of the requirements of Part 1. The clauses of Section 1 of this Part relate directly to the equivalent clauses in Part 1. Some clauses in Section 1 of this Part are divided into sub-clauses that have no equivalent in Part 1. In such cases, they relate to the equivalent clause rather than the sub-clause (for example, clauses 6.2 and 6.2.1 of this Part relate to clause 6.2 of Part 1). Where a clause in Section 1 of this Part is applicable to more than one clause in Part 1, guidance is given in the first clause to which it relates.
