At the sixth concert of the season, Mr. E. D'Albert, ex-scholar of the old National Training School for Music, was the chief attraction; he was a performer, and also a considerable portion of the programme consisted of his music. The first of his pieces was a dramatic soprano solo, entitled "The Little Mermaid's Death and Transfiguration."
