Mr. Alfred Pratt has left for New York, where he has obtained a very good musical appointment. Mr. Pratt, who was educated at the Royal College of Music, is a brilliant pianist. He has been associated with the small orchestras that play at society functions, etc., and has published songs, etc., with Chappell, Novello, etc. He belonged to a party of six which invariably played at the country houses visited by the King.
