SenseCam '13: Proceedings of the 4th International SenseCam & Pervasive Imaging Conference. ACM, New York, NY, USA, 2013.
abstract   bibtex
The SenseCam and other pervasive imaging techniques are being employed in a growing body of research from around the world. The SenseCam and Pervasive Imaging conference reflects the international and interdisciplinary nature of human image based research bringing together computer scientists and device experts with researchers in different fields of application including health. The science of pervasive imaging is advancing rapidly because of the increasing number of commercial products and because of the demand from consumers and researchers to have devices that can constantly provide visual context to our everyday behaviors. This two-day conference, the fourth in the SenseCam series, brought together international experts in computational science, behavior science, health sciences, and related fields. This gathering facilitated innovative transdisciplinary discussions of image and lifelogging data, the ethics, analysis and applications. We hope to identify new applications and opportunities to use images to change human behaviors demonstrating that a picture is worth a thousand words.
