abstract   bibtex
Since poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) presents a stiff structure due to benzene ring and develops induced crystallization, it appears as a good candidate for application requiring mechanical resistance and barrier properties. Consequently, for several years, emergence of PET has been successful in packaging and an important effort has been performed by scientists to study PET mechanical behaviour or thermal properties in relation with its structure. Whereas the first paper deals with thermal properties, the aim of the present paper is to evaluate the influence of the processing on microstructure and mechanical properties.
