	abstract = {This chapter presents the telehealth project developed by Universidade Federal Fluminense for remote medical care using a holographic telepresence system. We developed a system that allows a board of medical experts to assist patients in remote areas of the country, where the medical service is usually precarious and deficient in specialties. The system is based on the premise that the doctor needs a comprehensive and detailed view of the patient in order to assist professionals who are in remote locations. The doctor also needs good quality communication, but without imposing discomfort on the patient due to the interaction with the image and sound equipment. The proposal is already implemented and in use. We are now expanding the project scope, counting with the support of the Brazilian Armed Forces.},
