	abstract = {Three prehistoric sites were excavated at Toledo Bend Reservoir in 1967-68. Description of the sites, Xl6SA101, Xl6SA17 and X41SY100, is presented with particular emphasis placed upon the intra-site patterning of features and artifacts. Detailed analysis of lithic debris shows that there are different tool making processes represented at the sites and these patterns are not adequately reflected by the tool assemblage. It is concluded that the settlement system along the Sabine River included small seasonal villages as well as burial and mound sites.},
