	abstract = {May the Political Economy of Knowledge and Political Economy of Communication and Culture bring interesting and critical approaches, which would be useful to Information Sciences? This question is on the basis of this paper, a first result of an ampler research program. The aim of this paper is not to give a complete and articulated answer to the question proposed above, but to start developing it in more concrete terms, linked to a discussion of the real changes in the productive system, that begins in the critical conjuncture of the 70's. First, we will briefly explain some axes of our present bibliographical research. Then, we may put the accent on the analysis of the concrete historical process, on the basis of the cited theoretical approach. This is a fundamental step to propose our central hypothesis and, finally, to come back to the original question and to present the possible ways for a critic of knowledge administration literature, that has an important influence in Information Sciences today.},
