Avaliação de competências infocomunicacionais sob a perspectiva da metaliteracy [link]Paper  abstract   bibtex
A knowledge-based society is needed of infocommunicative skills such as critical toward content and sources and the ability to be relate to individuals who may be physically and culturally distant. Studies about the concept of metaliteracy have been addressing this issue and provide the theoretical basis on which the field results of this work will be analyzed. The objectives are: 1) examine, from a theoretical point of view, the convenience of the concept of metaliteracy to understand the informational and communicational behavior; 2) present empirical results that show the relationship between the concept of metaliteracy and infocomunicacional behavior of graduate students. The method involved systematization of literature in order to situate the subject in theory and empirical research with 86 graduate students who responded to an online survey between 14 and March 31, 2016. Of these, 59 respondents are from Spanish-speaking countries: Spain, Mexico and Uruguay, and 27 are Brazilian. Among the results highlight the consolidation of cooperation in infocomunicacional behavior of students who consider and rely on different sources of information, such as those generated by other users, example of specialized social networks. However, there were skills that need to be more developed, such as the ability to interact with people from different cultures. Findings indicate the convenience of metaliteracy to understand and make sense on learning and infocomunicacional behavior, especially by highlighting metacognition and connectivism. Keywords: Infocommunicative literacy; Metaliteracy; Information literacy; Communication literacy
