	abstract = {The availability of statistics for the integrated study
of certain characteristics of the Venezuelan territory
and its population is limited by reasons associated
to periodicity, as well as appropriate and detailed
publication. In view of this situation, a dwelling
quality index is presented as a proposal. It offers,
by means of census data, synthesis information
for: i) space differentiation analysis, ii) diagnosis
for policy design, iii) monitoring of aspects related
to Venezuelan life quality. It is with the aim of
promoting reflections and discussions about how
to deal with the mentioned restraint, in order to
study one of the components of life quality, that this
proposal, based on census data, is presented.},
