In this article the author offers observations on the work of the potter and ceramic artist Molly Hatch. Particular focus is given to how she was approached by the retail company Anthropologie in April 2010 about the possibility of collaborating on a project together. Her solo art exhibition titled "Mimesis," at the Clay Studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2011 is also discussed.
