Arxiv abstract bibtex We show that the diversity-multiplexing tradeoff in fading inter-symbol interference (ISI) channels with a single degree of freedom (MISO/SIMO) is successively refinable. This demonstrates that ideal opportunistic codes can be designed asymptotically in SNR.
