their nations, which is why the texts that are used for their understanding need to be 
precise, clear and avoid subjectivity. This paper analyzes the book of the Bicentennial  Collection for sophomore s in secondary education,  Our Republican History. The main purpose is to study whether this textbook has the necessary elements to develop  fair, open and objective education in Venezuela. In other words, it seeks to evaluate  whether by using this textbook  as the main tool for the learning process, it allows  students to be fuelled by the Venezuelan historical process from a neutral, critical  and rational viewpoint.},
