Degenerate many fermion theory in exp S form. (III). Linked valence expansions. Ey, W. Nuclear Physics, Section A, 296(2):189–204, 1978.
doi  abstract   bibtex
An ansatz for states of an open shell A-body Fermi system is derived using as far as possible data of the (A-1)-body system. The resulting expansion of the A-body states in terms of "elementary" amplitudes leads to equations representing a simple connection between the effective interaction in the A- and the (A-1)-body system and to an analytic formulation of the linked valence theorem. Consequences for spectroscopic calculations are discussed. \textcopyright 1978.
