	abstract = {The present study is intended to offer an analysis on the nature of the information, data and knowledge, seeking to distinguish them and define them conceptually from the contrast of philosophical concepts, within a phenomenological perspective of the Theory of Knowledge, with properties and experimental results of Physics and Neurophysiology. To achieve the objectives above mentioned, will be used the idea of a thought experiment, inspired by Einstein, in which the reader will be led to imagine yourself watching the journey of a photon, since its emission for some real-world object, such as the Sun or a light bulb, the way through the space that separates it from an observer, its uptake by the photoreceptor cells of the retina of this subject, and the analysis of the subjective cognitive process, which results in the formation of knowledge that represents the observed object.
