It is known but often neglected that database integration cannot be automated. System integration is far more difficult. Both integrations can only be performed if a number of assumptions can be made for the integrated system. Instead of integrating systems entirely cooperation or collaboration of systems can be developed and used. We propose in this paper the extension of the view cooperation approach to database collaboration.}
