Mr. Urmson on memory and imagination [link]Paper  doi  abstract   bibtex
[first paragraph] IN his challenging article ' Memory and imagination' (MIND, January 1967) Mr. Urmson returns an 'absurdly simple' answer to a simple question, namely, how to distinguish between remembering and imagining. Hume, most, notable setter of the questidn, made, Urmson considers, a poor shot at answering it, partly because he mixed it up with another problem (pp. 84 f., 90 f.).
