On Image Restoration Techniques for Medical Imaging [link]Paper  abstract   bibtex
In this chapter two new approaches are proposed that address two problems that are commonly encountered in the context of image restoration for medical imaging applications. First, we considered the problem of regularized image restoration when no prior information about the original image and the noise is available. A new paradigm, is adopted according to which the required information is extracted from the available data at the previous iteration step, ie, the partially restored image at each step.
