This paper presents experimental results on controlling the model of hand prosthesis with the use of myopotentials (EMG signals). Author provides some basic information on an electromyography followed by description of control methods proposed in the project, and experimental results. All tests were made on the laboratory-built model of human arm. Three different algorithms using myopotentials as inputs were proposed and tested. All methods can be used to control various devices, and particularly externally powered prostheses.
