We are inquiring, through reflections about information ethics, what is the possibility to establish normative orientations, judgment and evaluations about the moral attributions of information agents and actions, in terms of their interventions and effects on production, access, use and appropriation of information, that affect other people. In this work, we question the plausibility of an universal standard for validation and acceptability of information, from the point of view of an ethic approach and embedded moral presuppositions.
