	abstract = {Language documentation has largely been driven by the needs and goals of the community of (external) linguists, with less attention to the needs of communities of language users and potential speakers. The result is a mismatch between the materials produced by linguists and the needs of communities. Yet in order for any revitalization program to be successful, it must be driven by the community.
