Risk [link]Paper  doi  abstract   bibtex
Public debates on risk often center around ethical issues, such as: When is it justified to expose others to a risk? Does an exposed person's consent justify a risk imposition? What is required for the social distribution of risks to be fair? A careful analysis of questions like these should be an important part of socially responsible risk management. In addition, many risk assessments contain inherent moral values that need to be identified and explicitly stated. Therefore, moral philosophy has important tasks in the risk decision process.
