	abstract = {In this chapter, we will study an application of AI for building recommendation systems. We will look at the concept of collaborative filtering that lies at the heart of recommendation systems. We will also look at real-life examples of Netflix and Amazon and how they have used the technique to deliver personalized experiences in vastly different applications. These problems illustrate relatively novel concepts that were not well known to the field few decades before.
