Planning the collaborative activities of all the stakeholders involved in supply networks under the constraints of quality, cost and time is a key issue. After having described the architecture of supply networks by contrasting it with the supply chain case the main features for forecasting and planning their activities are explained. A technique called probability forecasting is presented as a qualified collaborative tool to plan the activities of supply networks. It bears on the assessments of forecasts as probability rating.
