A New Wrist Watch Type Healthcare Monitoring System Based on IP-USN [link]Website  abstract   bibtex
Ubiquitous sensor network is technology for the domain of unobtrusive medical monitoring system in healthcare applications. A number of wearable applications for healthcare system seem to be growing rapidly in these recent years. These applications concentrate on the noninvasive and continuous monitoring of cardiovascular which is extremely useful for a specialist to track any specific diseases. Therefore, a new wrist watch type healthcare monitoring system is proposed with the intention to deliver a flexible and scalable service based on IP-USN. This system consists of wrist type oximeter measurement, 6LoWPAN nodes linked with gateway for communication and real-time monitoring program in server. A 6LoWPAN node integrated with wrist type oximeter provides reliable IPv6 wireless communication to transfer patient's vital signs to a doctor or server via IEEE 802.15.4 standard and 6Lo WPAN protocol. Our approach presents the improved healthcare monitoring system with reliable IP-USN technique communication manages to process large amount of biomedical data on the network appropriately.
