Archaeological investigations, consisting of background searches, a characteristics inventory (initial reconnaissances), and a pedestrian survey have been conducted for approximately 12.2 miles (19.52 km) of this route from Downtown Dallas to Spring Valley Road.The information provided here presents an overview of the known or suspected prehistoric and historic settlement in the vicinity of the PlanoLine.
