NKU Tungsten isocyanide research 3 Photophysical studies of tungsten(0) isocyanides. Karasiova, S., Kramer, S., A., Mazor, D., & Walters, K., A. In Abstracts of Papers, 237th ACS National Meeting, Salt Lake City, UT, United States, March 22-26, 2009, pages CHED-593, 2009. American Chemical Society.
abstract   bibtex
This poster is the third of three focusing on the synthetic and photophys. properties of tungsten(0) isocyanide complexes. These mols. are of great interest in "green" photocatalytic applications, as they undergo photoinduced charge transfer and deliver practically their entire excited-state energy to the reactant. This portion of the research project focuses on the photophys. measurements on the synthesized tungsten(0) isocyanide complexes. These measurements include absorption, emission, and laser-induced transient absorption. The excited-state energetics are further probed through oxidative emission quenching studies using a series of nitroarom. quenchers. [on SciFinder(R)]
