Scaffolding Collaborative Project Work in End-User Development. Korn, M. & Veith, M. Proceedings of the Work-in-Progress Session of the Second International Symposium on End User Development (IS-EUD 2009), International Reports on Socio-Informatics (IRSI), 6(1):9–12, 2009.

In a long term case study, we have analyzed learning practices in${\}textbackslashbackslash$na German Computer Club House (CCH) setting. Observing children and${\}textbackslashbackslash$ntheir parents creating artifacts with construction kits, we found${\}textbackslashbackslash$nthat they had problems in maintaining the flow of their project work${\}textbackslashbackslash$nover time. Therefore, we develop concepts for a project management${\}textbackslashbackslash$ntool which support CCH settings to scaffold their growing information${\}textbackslashbackslash$nspace in terms of artifact re-use and expertise development over${\}textbackslashbackslash$ntime. Scaffolding in this regard is understood to support collaborative${\}textbackslashbackslash$nprocesses in communities of end-user development.
