We conclude with some remarks on future directions in NSW.; The state of New South Wales in Australia shares a number of similarities with language revitalization in California as well as some signfiicant differences. In this paper; we provide a brief overview of the Indigenous language situation in NSW. Then we focus on langauge revitalization in NSW particularly over the last five years; with a special emphasis on education. We turn then to the comparison between NSW and California.
