All-fiber Kerr wavelength converter. Marazzi Lucia, B., P., M., M. In Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics Europe - Technical Digest, pages 108-109, 1998. IEEE.
Website abstract bibtex A novel wavelength converter architecture based on the joint use of Kerr phase modulation and interferometric conversion is proposed. Compared to the Mach-Zehnder interferometer configuration, and the new converter architecture is highly innovative providing high insensitivity to the common mode noise. The dynamic response of the converter is tested by using a 17-dBm amplified drive signal at 1558 nm modulated at 3 Gbit/s.
