Ein Fall von Eltern-Kind Entfremdung [link]Paper  abstract   bibtex
In the context of divorce and divorce situations, Richard Gardner, an American psychiatrist, described a special disorder in children in 1984, which he called "Parental Alienation Syndrome" (PAS). A child suddenly turns away completely and incomprehensibly from the separated parent while exclusively to the supervising parent. In the context of a massive emotional injury, one parent tries to turn the child against the other parent. This could reach the level of emotional abuse.
