Paper doi abstract bibtex The application of thermometric titrimetries to the determination of enthalpies of neutralization of diprotic and triprotic acids using a linear least-squares method is studied critically. The best way of fitting is investigated by analyzing the experimental data for a series of simulated titration curves of a number of acids. The conclusions are applied to the calculation of the enthalpies of maleinimidedioxime, thiodi- propionic and thiodiglycolic acids (diprotic systems), and citric acid. © 1982.
