Anomophthalmina subtrib. n., una subtribu endémica de Entimini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) de la Patagonia occidental [link]Paper  abstract   bibtex   
This subtribe of  Entimini (Curculionidae: Entiminae) is endemic to southern Argentina and Chile, in the western portion of the Patagonian biogeographic province. lt is easily recognized by the eyes covered dorsally by conspicuous frontal tubercles, the tuberculate prothorax and elytra, and the strongly sclerotized, outwardly-directed, ferna!e hemisternites. A description of the subtribe, a key, diagnoses, and illustrations of the genera are provided, and their geographical distribution is rnapped.
