This paper introduces a simplified way to determine the shakedown load multiplier of bounded linearly kinematic hardening structures. The simplification is based on the shakedown solution for elastic-perfectly plastic structures. The numerical results show that the simplified way gives good results, compared to results from upper bound shakedown algorithm for bounded linearly kinematic hardening structures.
