Website abstract bibtex The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), HHS commissioned this study to examine other countries' implementation of their respective consent policies and practices, especially with respect to "sensitive" health information, in the context of their developing NHIIs. This study is intended to examine the consent mechanisms currently used or proposed in other countries that could potentially be utilized to implement the existing consent requirements for sensitive health information in the United States.
