The influence of various seawater components on the buffer capacity for carbon dioxide. Rebello, A. D.<nbsp>L. & Moreira, I. N.<nbsp>S. Marine Chemistry, 11:33--41, 1982.
abstract bibtex
A series of expts. was performed using artificial seawater samples of increasing complexity, in order to identify, qual. and quant., the contribution of main seawater components on the buffer capacity for CO2. Mg plays the most important role in the uptake, enhancing the capacity of the carbonate system by \textgreater100%. [on SciFinder(R)]
