Father of Love tells about divorce and the maintenance of the unique relationships of a child with his parents and grandparents. This book tells the true story of two parents, two honorable fathers who were falsely accused of sexually harassing their respective daughters. Before then, they had never been in court. They put their faith and hope in justice, convinced that there would be someone who would understand or officials who would defend them and their children. How could they know that institutions rarely have souls, or that many people who make up the Family Court sometimes forget that each sheet of paper on your desk holds the eyes and heart of a suffering child and parent? What they forget is that the processes are much more than mere legal sheets tied by a string. Innocent lives are at stake. The fathers' fight for custody led to the destruction of their families, the loss of the daughters they love, and their dignity. This book is not a fiction, but a witness to the sad reality that has taken place in Portugal, showing how detrimental injustice and human indifference are.
