Now in its second edition, this remains the standard history on the topic. Ringenberg is a professor of history (part-time) at Taylor University in Indiana. Mark Noll writes the introduction to both editions. Ringenberg touches on the history faith-learning integration and more recent developments in chapters 6 and 7.
