A MOSFET-C variable bump equalizer with an on-chip automatic tuning circuit was developed and fabricated in a 2-μm CMOS process. The center frequency (ω o ), the gain at ω o (G), and the 3 dB bandwidth of the bump equalizer are independently programmed by external DC control voltages. A switched-capacitor gain control loop is used to provide on-chip automatic tuning. Experimental results on the tuning of the center frequency, the gain, and the bandwidth are presented.
