People with dementia have not traditionally been seen as a user group for website development. This paper describes the first attempts to discover some of navigation design needs when developing an information-based web- site for people with dementia. A card sorting methodology is described using existing information that is provided for people with dementia about their con- dition. Some participants with dementia found it difficult to group concepts to- gether. This could have a profound affect on the design of good websites.
