We report on our theoretical investigations that point to the possibility\nof a fractional quantum Hall effect with partial spin polarization\nat v = 3/8. The physics of the incompressible state proposed here\ninvolves p-wave pairing of composite fermions in the spin reversed\nsector. The temperature and magnetic field regimes for the realization\nof this state are estimated.
